Q: How long does the Care Worker Training course take
A: Our courses are a minimum of 16 months on programme. This is to give you ample time to complete any assignments and the learning is well paced.
Q: What is an off the job training log.
A: This is a log of activities that you complete on a monthly basis with any training or activities that add to your apprenticeship learning.
Q: How many hours off the job training do I need
A: You will need 6 hours a week for the duration of your apprenticeship.
Q: Do I have to make any payments
A: No, you do not have to make any payments towards the cost of the apprenticeship. Your employer will be supporting you through the course.
Q: My employer has asked me to pay the contribution towards my apprenticeship.
A: Please do not make any personal payment contribution to the apprenticeship as it is against the funding rules. Your employer is responsible for making the employer contribution payment.
Q: What happens at the end of my course
A: At the end of the course you will go forward for End Point Assessment. Your tutor will support you through the course to ensure you are ready for End Point Assessment.
